Since
it began in 2000,
First Friday has only continued to grow. It is now considered the
premier monthly arts event in Southeastern Indiana. Down on
Main Street,
you will find, inviting little shops like the
whimsical offerings of the Persimmon Tree antique store, one-of-a-kind
galleries, and
the working artists' studios around town. While
many people love to walk the neighborhood, the Grand Victoria Casino
also
kindly provides a shuttle bus from their establishment that make rounds
throughout the area and
make pick ups every 15 minutes throughout the evening. And no matter
how you decide to get around, you can always expect a diverse crowd,
great art, live music, and plenty of
surprises!
